Since I’ve been working on coke’s social media handles, we’ve torn them down, built them back up and crashed the website. Pretty good times all of them.

Coke was all over the place. So we stripped down our channels and built them back up from scratch. Rallying around positivity and optimism, making our intention clear by bursting onto the scene with 99 pieces of content in a single day. Flooding the internet with something it doesn’t see everyday, positivity.

1985. The year of New Coke. Also the year of Stranger Things 3. Huh, wouldn’t it be crazy if we brought New Coke back?! That’d be just as weird as a trip to the Upside Down.

Once the shoppable IG post went up the site came down. Although it is a pretty proud moment in my career, it was a pretty bad moment at the time.

To cap it all off, on show launch day we created a hide and seek in Twitter that used the lightbox to reveal a secret message. As people discovered the message we added them to a leaderboard and rewarded them with Stranger Things and New Coke merch.
